Youths under the aegis of National Association of Nigerian Youths NANY, have expressed support for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in the state, Jimoh Ibrahim,a lawyer, politician, businessman, and philanthropist , following the judgement from Mr. Abang had on October 14 declared Mr. Ibrahim the true candidate of the PDP. On Thursday, Mr. Abang rejected a plea by Mr. Jegede seeking to be allowed to appeal the October 14 court judgement.
National Association of Nigerian Youths NANY, as the umbrella body of all youths cuts across the country and in diaspora has declared her support for the chairman and chief executive officer of Global Fleet Group, at the weekend while urging all the youths in Ondo State to support an educationist and ideological equipped candidate. assuring him that there was no substance in a festering rumour that youths in the state were disenchanted.
Led by the Secretary General of the association, Comrade Solanke Taiwo, the youths while addressing newsmen in Owo, said they were impressed by the massive development witnessed in the Dr. Olusegun Mimiko’s administration, gave assurance that Jimoh Ibrahim is capable of continuity.
Solanke , who said youths in Ondo State, would personally embark on campaigns to ensure that Jimoh wins the November 26 governorship election, called on dynamic youths to come out in mass and vote for, “the man who knows where the shoe pinches while he commend INEC for respecting the rule of law.
“We all know that there is the need for continuity in Ondo State, and the man who will bring about that is Jimoh, who is an educationist, a politician and a product of good governance,” he said.
According to him: "Jimoh is the right choice for the people and it was not a mistake to have nominated him to succeed Mimiko and continue from where he stopped.”.

He accused the cabals in the Peoples Democratic Party PDP of toying with Ondo future while he urge the party to have a rethink on Jimoh Ibrahim candidacy in the spirit of fairplay.
