PHOTOS: Amosun Pays Condolence Visit to Senator Dada

Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, on Thursday, paid a condolence visit to the Ota family home of Senator Prince Gbolahan Dada to commiserate with him over the death of his mother, Olori Josephine Amope Dada.

Olori Dada who was the matriarch of the family of the past Olota of Ota, HRM Oba Timothy Talabi Dada, died in the morning of Thursday, June 9, 2016, aged 90.

The governor was received at the family home by members of the late Oba Dada family, Senator Dada and members of the Ota traditional Council among others.

Ota people came out in their numbers to welcome and thank the governor not only for visiting but also for the unprecedented infrastructural development the town has witnessed so far under his administration.

While responding, Governor Amosun reiterated the fact that the late Olori was like a biological mother to him.
"You cannot be welcoming me home. This is home for me and the late Olori was like a mother to me," the governor said.
