Boko Haram kill 10 in fresh attack in Borno

No fewer than ten people were feared killed on Wednesday when suspected members of Boko Haram invaded nearby surrounding villages of Monguno Local Government Area of Borno State, reports Vanguard.


Seven other people were also injured in the deadly attack.
The terrorists, who were armed with AK-47 rifles were, fleeing from military bombardment by air force raid when they sneaked into the nearby villages and started shooting sporadically.


They also set many residential buildings, mostly thatched houses on fire.
The insurgents were trying to regroup in one of their destroyed camps before they were bombarded by a coordinated effort of the military and air force operatives.
Some of those who escaped the military bombarded stormed some of the nearby villages and started shooting.

On Wednesday, two suicide bombers blew themselves up close to a leprosy hospital in a village near Maiduguri at the time Vice President Yemi Osinbajo was visiting the city.
