President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Alhaji Ahmed Idris as the Accountant General of the Federation.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Fede
ration, Barrister Danladi Kifasi, announced the appointment.
In a statement on Thursday, Kifasi said the appointment is with effect from June 25, 2015.
Idris hails from Kano State.
He was born on November 25, 1960 and was until this appointment the Director of Finance and Accounts in the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development.
