As campaigns and consultations towards the 2015 general
elections gather momentum, a party chieftain of the All
Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji Mohammed Kabir Salihu,
yesterday, said that some of the politicians seeking elective
positions in the party are contractors contracted by the
Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to distabilize the APC,
saying, they would do all it takes to make sure that they don’t
have their way.
Salihu, who is the party chairman of Zaria local government,
stated this in Zaria during a meeting of the local government
stakeholders with one of the governorship aspirants, Alhaji
Salihu Mohammed Lukman.
According to the local government chairman, “We are in
politics with the fear of God and we will discharge our
responsibilities with the fear of God; we will not allow PDP
contractors now in our party to cause chaos in our party.
“We will only support whoever has our interest at heart, and
because Lukman has always been there for us, he knows our
problems and he is a man who fears God and that is why we
are supporting him hundred percent.
“All those trying to frustrate the party in the local government
thinking they have national connection, walahi we will ensure
that they don’t succeed”, he said.
