NANS 001 OGUN STATE greets
BEING THE PRESS RELEASE OF NANS OGUN JCC LED BY
COM. FALOLA AHMED OLASUNKANMI
ON THE
One-Day Sensitization Programme and Inter-campus Oratory
Debate Competition(RESULT)
Themed: THE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF NIGERIAN
YOUTHS TOWARDS NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND UNITY
THAT HELD ON THE 10TH OF OCTOBER, 2014,
AT THE NLC HALL, ABEOKUTA, OGUN STATE.
All adoration belongs to God in His Majesty for the success
of the programme that continues to receive many accolades,
impress many minds, and touch many lives. We kept being
asked how we came about such an awesome idea. Well, we
understood that the reading culture and the healthy academic
rivalry that characterised Nigerian students of generations
past and made them soar have, for some time now, taken
flight from most of our campus, yet idle hands remain the
Devil’s workshop; so that if we could revive reading as a
culture, we would (also) be preparing students towards and
positioning them for better leadership now and in the future.
In essence, we would be killing two birds with one stone:
(1) we would be engendering camaraderie, and encouraging
peace and unity within the student populace; and
(2) we would also be setting the pace for the coming
generation.
Brethren in struggle, and good people of Ogun State, at this
juncture, I cannot but appreciate Almighty God who still
remains our Maintenance, Sustenance, and Sustainer.
Special appreciation goes to those who attended the
programme:
1. NANS NATIONAL DELEGATES;
2. NANS ZONE D SECRETARY, P.R.O, and TREASURER;
3. Representatives of the NATIONAL ORIENTATION AGENCY;
4. STUDENTS UNION PRESIDENTS AND/OR VICE-
