Saying it as it is, is not something the powerful people
appreciates. They'll call you rebel, and countless unprintable
names for daring in the first place. I did my homework very
well before my foray into public life. I have always speak out
my mind on issues affecting the people I represent. I fight and
defend them. I go all out to push for their demands from the
government they elect.
I will never be a money bag, no sense representative. If I'm in
politics because of the perceived huge monetary gains
involved, you all know whose side I would have been. I got
my mandates from the majority of my people and to me, that
is worth more than any material things the world can offer.
Mother Theresa said and I quote, "At the end of life we will
not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how
much money we have made, how many great things we have
done. We will be judged by "I was hungry, and you gave me
something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was
homeless, and you took me in."
The trust and faith reposed in me will not let me see evil
happening to them and look away. Like I carry the words of
God everyday of my life, I carry the trust you have in me for
electing me as your representative in the state house of
assembly.
We have come a long way. My stewardships are out there to
be examined and graded by you. I want you all to talk to the
TASUED students about their equipped e-library, talk to the
15 wards under my constituency, the widows and widowers,
the youths and the children. These are the true people I have
been frolicking with since my advent into this political
dispensation.
I can do more and even better if given the higher
responsibilities.
Next election, I'll be seeking for your mandate to the higher
office of Ijebu Central Federal Constituency. Namely;
Odogbolu, Ijebu Ode and Ijebu North East Local Governments
respectively.
Your support is what I will need. Your prayers is what I
desire. And your vote is what will make it happen.
I believe we can do this together. We can strive and strike
together. In unity, we can better our lots together.
